AANM 2018 Volunteer Day - Clovis, NM at Light House Mission

On Friday , September 14th I Volunteered my time in at the Light House Mission . I donated Household items such as 1 Kitchen Table, 1 TV , 1 Night stand and 3 Bags of clothes which included shoes and stuffed animals. I Also mowed a lawn for an elderly woman since I saw it was unkept.

On Friday September 14,2018. JL Gray employees got together to give out hamburgers, hot dogs, hot links, Frito pie and nachos. Everything was donated by several local companies and employees. We collected coats and blankets for the homeless and invited them to come and eat. We also had a gift packet for any of the homeless that would show up. We tried giving them extra stuff. One of the men said we only take what we need and save for another that might need it more then us. What was left over we donated to the Homeless shelters and the money we collected we donated to the Senior center(JOY center).The JOY center does a lot for our seniors in the community.
